My last meal, sounds like I’m death row or on the Green Mile, consisted of chicken slices stuffed with stuffing and served with gravy and mash. I have to say it was quite tasty too. I did all of my fruit and veg shopping via PriceRite in Buffalo. If it wasn’t such a great store for cheap veg and fruit I probably wouldn’t go there. I feel like I’ve entered a foreign country when I walked into PriceRite. When I wander around the isles packed with Goya and products of that description I get stared at by the local as if they’re saying to me “this is a local store for local people, there’s nothing for you here”. It’s the Royston Vasey of Buffalo NY…Ha! Which I find offensive as I actually love Soffrito and Sazon and I’ve actually tasted a few Malta Goya beverages. Oh and I can say some phrases and sentences in Spanish too. Just sayin
Oh so my juicing quest has become the fascination of my colleagues at BGMC; the news has spread to EVERYONE that I’m juice fasting. Though the comments have all been of fascination and good wishes. A few have a look on their faces that screams of, “B$tch you be crazy, can’t nobody live without meat”. Ha. I wonder what it will be like NOT to eat anything, it seems so weird and so odd. I wonder if that makes me a bit of a sweat-hog that I can’t remember a day that I’ve not had something to masticate? Hmmm, interesting. Well I’m hoping to not eat anything for 30 days. My sister didn’t get on with juicing…she actually started becoming ill and under nourished because she wasn’t “eating/drinking” enough nutrition and not drinking enough water. I hope that doesn’t happen to me. I want this to work out. Speaking of working out: I hope this will inspire me to use my wii to workout a bit. Supposedly juicing is super energizing and such…we shall see.
Right this is it for now. Until tomorrow America. Or whatever…I think I need to find a a witty catchphrase like “juice on” that is all my own and not borrowed from someone else. I’ll have to ponder on it.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read, it means so much.
