DAY 3

So my juice fast is going along relatively well. I have decided that I will be juicing breakfast/lunch and eating a super healthy dinner. A lot of research has shown a higher percentage of success and weight loss with this method than straight juicing ALONE.

I have noticed that I have a bit more pep in my step. When coming into work there is this LOOONG hallway (I dubbed it the Green Mile) to the main hospital lobby of lifts and it seems to take forever to walk down it; yesterday and this morning I flew down the hall with no dread whatsoever. I was quite pleased to be honest.

One thing I forgot to mention: When I weighed myself on Saturday morning on my Wii Fitness thingy it had been the first time in 160+ days since I had last weighed myself. The brilliant thing was that I was the exact same weight!!! So whilst I didn't lose any weight during the summer/fall I didn't gain a single ounce!!!! That makes me quite chuffed indeed.

I have noticed with juicing so far that my morning juice, which has been the pineapple/carrot mixture and tastes AMAZING, always is the "cleansing" drink and I mean CLEANSING. My colon is squeaky clean. I won't gross you out by going into texture and colour...but it's sure purdy, bahahaha. My lunch juice yesterday was sort of ick to be honest. I can't say the combination of 2 tomatoes, 1/2 a cucumber, 4 carrots, and 3 handfuls of spinach was a tasty juice as it was rather bland. I didn't mind the colour of split pea diarrhea but the flavour had a lot to be desired. BUT! there are tons of other combinations that are delish.

I haven't noticed any other physiological changes yet, but it's early days yet.
